What Azealia Banks’ Twitter Rants Tell Us About Her Mental Stability
I’m certain that this week we’ve all sniggered at Azealia Banks’ nuance of Twitter tirades, but what is her actual deal? Well, my theory is that she’s cracked.
Dropped by her label for her incessant Kanye-like Twitter rambles and lack of music, the star continuously shoots herself in the foot. In fact I’m not entirely sure how she’s still walking, what with all of it having been blown off. Though incredibly entertaining for us, Azealia’s constant Twitter battles must be exhausting for her publicist… Or perhaps that was their plan all along.

As you may already know, thanks to fast news via Twitter, Azealia Banks outwardly attacked a 14-year-old girl on the Internet. Yes, 14. Following her third, yes third, rant via Periscope this time – in which she referenced UK rappers – she was then dropped as an act from Rinse FM’s upcoming Born & Bred Festival. The reason being her racial slurs toward Malik. A noble move by the Rinse team. In the video she says: “Ya’ll n*ggas in the UK cannot rap” and looks rather blankly at the camera. The video which circulated this morning has spurred a number of memes and video changes, though this one is my favourite:

And with that, much like Romeo, Azealia done.
