Easy Halloween Makeup You Already Own!
Do you want to dress up and go all out for Halloween this year, but you’re either broke, lazy, extremely busy or all of the above? Well, here are a few Halloween makeup ideas that you can create with makeup everyone already has in their own collections:
This is hilariously obvious, but if you have any black eyeliner (pencil is my personal preference!) you can automatically make yourself into a fantastic feline. Simply draw three lines on each cheek and a heart on the tip of your nose, and you’re good to go! If you’re really feeling up to it, I find a cheeky ‘cat-eye’ eyeliner is a great and ‘pun-y’ addition to your look!
Pro-tip: The best place to start your whiskers is a pinkie finger width’s away from your nose; make the stroke quick so that you get a nice tapered effect! Also, don’t forget to fill in that nose-heart.
Black eyeliner comes to the rescue yet again, although it also helps if you have black eye shadow and a very light shade of foundation (or white face-paint, if you really want to go all out, although I find this unnecessary). Simply draw a circle with the eyeliner around your eye area – include your eyebrows too – and fill in the circles with the black eyeliner/shadow.
Pro-tip: If you’re using foundation, make sure you apply it on top of your lips – using the black eyeliner again – and simply line your lips normally. Next, add vertical stripes across your lips to create the creepy teeth.
The trusty black eyeliner features once again, although this time it’s actually not the main focus. A dramatic smokey eye definitely helps with this look, but the star of the show is a blood-red lipstick. Apply it to your lips as normal, but get it a little messy by dragging some down from the corners of your lips, creating a bloody effect.
Pro-tip: A quick trip to the pound shop might also be worth it here for some vampire fangs, but white eyeliner works well too if you have it!
And there you go, just a few easy-peasy Halloween makeup ideas that you already have in your makeup bag AND don’t break the bank!
Have a happy Halloween and be sure to let us know what make up look you choose!
